How many candles per table?
As a starting point, two to three tea lights per table of four, one pillar set of three plus six to eight tea lights per wedding round, and two to three tapers per two metres of long table. These are styling conventions, not rules; designers often double them for a dramatic look.
| Setting | Starting quantity |
|---|---|
| Restaurant table for two | 1–2 tea lights |
| Restaurant table for four | 2–3 tea lights |
| Wedding round of 10 | 1 pillar set of 3 + 6–8 tea lights |
| Long table, per 2 m | 2–3 tapers + 6 tea lights |
| Hotel lobby console, per 1.5 m | 1 pillar set of 3 heights |
| Advent wreath | 1 set of 4 |
How much spare stock should a venue or rental company keep?
Keep 10–15% spare. For rechargeable fleets the spare set is the one charging while the other is on the tables; for events it covers candles that go missing or get damaged.
How do I turn a quantity into an order?
Send us your table counts and the look you want. We reply with a mix of models, the number of sets and cartons, and a quotation. Samples of standard models are available on request.
