How does a timer on an LED candle work?
The candle starts a 24-hour cycle at the moment you switch on the timer: it stays on for the timer period (for example 6 hours) and off for the rest of the day, then repeats. So switch the timer on at the time you want the candle to light each day.
How do I set the timer with the remote?
Switch the candles on at the time you want them to light each day, then press the timer key on the remote (for example 6H; the timer lengths differ by model and are listed on each product page). The candles confirm and repeat that cycle daily. On button-only models, press the switch to the timer position.
Which timer length should I choose?
| Use | Typical timer | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Restaurant tables | 4–6 h | Covers one evening service |
| Hotel lobby | 6–8 h | Evening to late night |
| Window candles | 6 h or dusk sensor | Evening glow, off by midnight |
| Retail customer at home | 6 h | The most common setting customers expect |
Timer or dusk-to-dawn sensor?
A sensor switches on when it gets dark and off at daylight, ideal in windows. A timer is better indoors where room lights would confuse a sensor. Some of our window candles use the sensor, others the remote timer.
